Invisalign® Costs

It’s true — a radiant smile is within your reach! Improving your smile is a vital investment, not just because you’re investing in your oral health, but because you’re investing in your confidence. We’ve seen the incredible transformations Invisalign® can bring out in our patients, and we look forward to helping you decide if Invisalign® is right for you.

How Much Does Invisalign® Treatment Cost?

Invisalign® is affordable. Although some people have the impression that clear aligners are a premium option, the cost of Invisalign® is similar to braces, and we strive to ensure that treatment is accessible to all. Everyone deserves a beautiful smile.

The costs of your Invisalign® treatment depend on a variety of factors, including the complexity and extent of the issues to be corrected, the duration of the treatment and the specific treatment details prescribed by your orthodontist.

Our orthodontists will determine the cost of your or your child’s treatment upfront so you can plan ahead. We offer a variety of payment options to help you finance your treatment.

Invisalign® Treatment Costs Breakdown

Different orthodontic problems demand different treatment plans, which is why the costs of Invisalign® can vary. Here are a few of the factors that determine the costs of this type of treatment:

Consultation Fees

Some orthodontists offer free consultations, while others charge a small fee for their services. There may also be charges for dental X-rays and other tests during your initial check-up.

Digital Impressions

Your orthodontists will take a 3D scan of your teeth and gums using special equipment. The scan is then used to make a digital impression of your mouth, which is shared with Invisalign® specialists.

Aligners

Multiple sets of Invisalign® aligners will be used during your treatment. The number you need is one of the biggest determining factors in the cost of your Invisalign® treatment.

Follow-up Visits

To track your progress and make adjustments and refinements when necessary, you will have regular check-ups with your orthodontist.

Aftercare Retainers

After your treatment is complete, you may need to wear retainers to keep your teeth straight. Invisalign® works with Vivera®, a company that produces retainers that look just like clear aligners.

Your Payment Options

Our staff will inform you of the cost of your treatment and each available payment option, so that you can make the best choice for you or your child. Your options may include the following:

Affordable Monthly Payments

We want to make it as easy as possible to receive the best orthodontic care in the Capital Region. Our team will work with you to create a payment plan that suits your budget and ensure you know what to expect before starting treatment.

Insurance

Many dental insurance plans cover Invisalign® aligners, just as they do for braces. Depending on your plan, your insurance provider may pay for a portion of the Invisalign® treatment. Our office will help you verify your insurance benefits.

Flexible Savings Account (FSA)

If you have an FSA through your employer, you can use that to pay some or all of the costs of your clear aligners.

Health savings account (HSA)

An HSA allows you to set aside pre-tax money for medical expenses, including orthodontic treatments.

We accept most major credit cards. We also participate with CareCredit and LendingPoint. A courtesy discount is applied for payments made in full.
